MECE 3338 - Dynamics 2

Welcome to Laplace class.

If you are good at Matlab, great, you won't use it here. No matter what they say. The only Matlab discussed is about 3/4 the way through the semester and my professor only talked about a couple of functions and never put them or anything Matlab related on the tests. Which, honestly, is sad because Simulink is an awesome tool for modeling these systems, but do we learn that? HELL NO!

(UH Logic: Lets dive into the minutia of an intricate mathematical process that they can explain to everyone close to their cubicle, while a computer does it in milliseconds...)

Seriously, if you did all of these calculations by hand at a real job.... you'd probably be fired. Anyways....

Things to remember (in great detail)
1) Laplace transforms
2) Partial Fraction Decomposition
3) Dynamics 1 Chapter 8 (Meriam Kraige 8th Edition)
3a) With special attention paid to natural frequencies (Wn)

In the DropBox you have pretty much everything CourseHero had at the time I took this class plus all of the completed homework.

Hammami may be smart and cute, but she can't teach worth a damn.

One last little helpful thing. A website, that helps you break down the Bode plots and more! I WISH I would have known about this in Dynamics 2!! (Works best on Chrome)

  1. Do you not have the final for D2?
Please post info for MECE 3345 Materials Science, particularly the final.
Is there any way I can contact you to request more info?

  2. Thank you for all the help!
Do you happen to have the final exam for this class btw?

  3. Do you happen to have old notes for fluid mechanics?
