MECE 4372 - Vibrations Lab (Dr. Gangbang Song)

Dr. Song is ok. Not stellar, not bad,... ok... Don't have anything good or bad to say really. He's maybe a little dry when it come to enthusiasm in his lectures. Overall, he was a nice dude and knows his stuff. Although, he did have students come up with some multiple guess test questions in the first assignment, which I thought was absolutely pointless and lazy on his part.

This class felt like an extension of Experimental Methods Lab 8 (Frequency Response of Filters). Most, if not all of, the labs were centered around the "Gray Box" / DC motor system (picture 1) and analyzing the response of various filters on it. I'm soooo glad this lab was online this semester. I don't even know why it was ever offered in person. It's boring.

In the Dropbox link I've included 2 previous semester's materials and lecture videos from fall 2020. With these things you should breeze through this class!

One last little helpful thing. A website, that helps you break down the Bode plots and more! I WISH I would have known about this in Dynamics 2!! (Works best on Chrome)
